Environmental Groups Renew Commitment to Equity and Racial Justice

Recently, RiverWise, along with 35 other environmental groups in the Greater Pittsburgh region, published a statement of renewed commitment to equity and racial justice. The future vibrancy of Beaver County hinges on continuing to build organizations, make decisions, and establish priorities that are genuinely inclusive and equitable in intent and outcome.

Like many organizations in our region, RiverWise has so much to learn and even more to do in this regard. But, we remain committed to this critically important work in the coming season — and in EVERY season — ahead.
