If you’ve been following along with our trail campaign, you know that we’ve said a lot of hard things about regional decision making and priorities. Given that, we think it is equally important to highlight when constructive leadership decisions are made.
In this piece you can read about a recent conversation between RiverWise and Beaver County Board of Commissioners Chairman, Dan Camp. Spirited and wide ranging, this public discussion highlighted the importance of public dialogue about contested priorities. We applaud Chairman Camp for making his position public and encouraging open debate about the matter. We need more of this kind of transparency in regional decision making.
