Recently, in close coordination with state officials and various government entities, the county officially launched a $20 million broadband project called “Connect Beaver County.” RiverWise is excited and encouraged by this project, and commends our board of commissioners, our state elected officials, and the various county departments who continue to work to make this initiative possible.
Regional and equitable connectivity is an undeniable benefit for our region, the consequences of which will be felt in all kinds of different ways. This work is a sound public investment in the future health of our region, and our leaders should be applauded for their work in this regard.
